Art/Work

Tropi-camp performances, Miami kitsch, and performative paintings fuse to critically celebrate Latinx identity, gender fluidity, sexuality, and feminine excess. I construct interactive spectacles and cultural exchanges that explore the aesthetic politics of gender, race, and women's work by wielding humor, nail polish, glitter, and flamboyant color. As an artist and licensed manicurist, I use the healing powers of touch, beauty, humor, & social interaction as tools for human connection.
